Let My People Go…Democrat Pharaohs
All things are from God (Rom 11:36), and that includes the Chinese Virus (a.k.a. Covid-19; WuFlu; Corona Virus; etc.). Therefore, all people, everywhere should pause and contemplate the events of A.D. 2020.
The call of God, for all people everywhere, is to repent of their sins and turn to Jesus Christ, as the only Savior of sinners (Acts 17:30; 2 Thess 2:23; Tit 2:13). This includes the godless leaders of cities, states, and nations.
When the wicked rule over the people, the people groan (Prv 29:2). This year has been a year of groaning for the people because of poor governance by so many mini tyrants. For in the midst of a new virus, that boasts a .2% death rate, amongst those who contract it (average age of the deceased is 79 years), draconian rules have become the fodder of state and local despots.
The Bible helps us to see the events of every season. Got plagues? Look no further than the Old Testament book of Exodus. When we witness droves of people departing New York City, the state of California, and other mismanaged areas, it is no surprise. People are not leaving those places because of the Wuhan Virus, but they are leaving because of wicked leaders and their failed policies.
Pharaoh, King of Egypt, had enslaved the Hebrew people at Goshen. The dictator of Egypt was threatened by the rising population of this particular people group. The time had arrived for God to re-locate His people from the land of prosperity, to the land of promise. Although they were enslaved by Pharaoh, the Israelites were provisionally in good stead. Their hearts were far from God, however.
Yahweh had promised a place of His choosing, for His chosen people. The best place in the world is where God wants you. He just might use pandemics and pathetic politicians to move you closer to Himself. These obnoxious overlords may even seek to arrest you, as did Pharaoh, for violations of their enslavement orders (which they regularly get caught breaking themselves!).
For many Americans, Thanksgiving, is the best holiday of the year. It remains a simple day of food, family, and a Detroit Lions loss on the gridiron. There is still a wee bit of reverence for God, at this time of annual reflection. God has blessed our nation, and we should give thanks to Him. Most of us do on this day.
It would be utterly unthinkable for anyone to come along and cancel Thanksgiving and Christmas. One would be equated to Dr. Seuss’ miserable grinch or worse. The God-centered nature of Thanksgiving and the Christ-centered reality of Christmas would only have the devil himself, as the disrupter of these cherished days of rest, reflection, and refreshment.
Alas, the devils have mandated their lockdown measures for the holidays. Who are these petite pharaohs? They are Democrats. A quick glance at each one’s religious affiliation, and it becomes very apparent what drives these destroyers of small businesses and families. They hate the everyday people of America, who work for their daily bread, and who give thanks to God for His providential provision.
Elitist politicians, having no fear of God, only wish to be gods (Gen 3:5). They love to lord over the people, with a heavy hand, even an iron fist (the old symbol of the Satanists and new symbol of the anarchists). The wealthy, elite, ruling class operate above the law of the land. They are pathological liars, claiming that their dictatorial prevention of freedoms, which are rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution, are for the health and safety of everyone. Their propaganda is always under the guise of some virtue: equality; safety; justice; health; etc. They delight in financially punishing the plebeians for their own good.
The truth about these people is that they lust for more power. They are haters of God (Rom 1:30), which means this year’s cancellation of the “God Holidays,” is the pinnacle experience for most of their pathetic careers, as life-long politicians and bureaucrats. It is remarkably rare for any of these Democrat Pharaohs to have ever owned a business. Even rarer is the one who ever took an economics class, for if they had, they would not be so inclined to such blatant stupidity and befuddling hypocrisy.
Anno Domini 2020 was the worst and maybe the best year, too. Nothing exposes godless charlatans like a plague. The American people were eyewitnesses to Democrat mayors and governors in A.D. 2020. There is freedom, outside of Democrat cities and states. Inside of them is lockdown tyranny. The cost to families and small businesses is immeasurable.
If you voted to empower one of America’s Democrat despots in 2020, may God grant you what these menaces have inflicted upon their deceived citizenry. May you remain in Egypt or Babylon or Sodom, or California for your just rewards.
As for the people of God, suffering under the oppression of Democrat Pharaohs, our prayer is for God to deliver you from these demonic strongholds. His command is for you to, “come out” of the godless tyranny (Rev 18:4). His message to the Democrat “cancel culture” curmudgeons is, “Let My people go,” so that they may worship God (Ex 5:1; 7:16; 8:1, 20; 9:1, 13; 10:3), in the freedom and fellowship of local church congregations, who never cease to give thanks to God, this day and everyday, for His indescribable gift (2 Cor 9:15).
