The Failed Promises of the Arminian Jesus at Christmas
The god of the Arminians claims that he loves everyone in the world. The god of the Arminians sent Jesus to die for everyone in history. This Jesus claims to have paid for all the sins of everyone in history. He tells them that he is the savior of the whole world. Then, the Arminian Jesus, unlike the Universalist Jesus, does not save everyone. The Arminian Jesus, like Jacobus Arminius himself, is a liar and failed savior. He actually saves no one.
Why do so many people place their trust in the Arminian Jesus? It is because they wish to be god (Gen 3:5). They desire the power to determine the outcome of their being saved. The Armininan Jesus did a good job dying for everyone, everywhere, but he has no power to actually be the one who saves even one. The power that determines, whether one is saved or not, belongs to the Arminian decision maker.
The Arminian preacher is an agent of Satan’s message to mankind, “You, too, shall be as god, deciding whether Jesus is a worthy savior or not.” Ironically, when the Arminian uses his “free will” to judge the Arminian Jesus to be worthy, he is deciding for the Jesus he himself controls.
Every false gospel has its false Jesus, who serves as an imposter. The false Christ of Arminianism has relinquished his will and ability to save. He has given his power over to the Arminian. The Arminian god and Jesus are loved by the Arminian, for relinquishing their sovereignty in salvation. The Arminian is the omnipotent decision maker in salvation.
Because the Arminian god gives power to people, to become gods, the Arminian works very hard to make more converts. Sinners become as gods, by their own choice. Because the Arminian settles on Jesus, to let him save the Arminian, he can deny the Arminian Jesus at any point in their relationship. The Arminian may claim that he cannot lose his salvation, but that would be a denial of his sacred free will.
The Arminian goes and tells everyone that salvation is for everyone. “Friend, Jesus loves you. Jesus came into the world for you. Jesus died for you. Now, you are in charge of salvation. Make your choice,” is the Arminian sales pitch of the Arminian Jesus. The thing the Arminian cannot say is, “Jesus saved His chosen people, by His own free will and gracious choice.”
The main deception in the promotion of man-centered theology (Arminianism), is located in the misuse of pronouns. Instead of “us” referring to Christ’s church, the Arminian makes “us” to be universal, for all people in history. For example, “Christ died for us,” does not mean His body of people, but the Arminian Jesus’ “us” is everyone, everywhere. For unto “us” a child is born, is not to the Israel of God, His church, but rather, the Christ child was given to those who would someday judge Jesus’ worthiness to be a savior.
Why do Arminians celebrate Christmas? It is to boast in their decision to open the gift package given to everyone, everywhere. “Look at me, I have opened my Christmas present from god, and I have decided to keep the gift he gave me.” God is now at peace, knowing the Arminian has chosen Him for salvation. This is pathetic.
Arminianism is a blasphemous heresy that exalts man above God, even as Satan tempted Adam and Eve (Gen 3), to decide for themselves of their own free will. Their pre-fall position was far better than today’s man, dead in his trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1). Satan continues to tempt people, to be the agent of change in their relationship with God.
“Jesus can save me from an eternity in hell? It costs me nothing? I just have to decide, to let him save me? Ok, if that’s what Jesus wants me to do, I will let him,” says the Arminian. In this, the arrogance and pride are never recognized by the Arminian, “Yeah, I will make room at the inn for Jesus. Sure, I am a wise man, so I will decide to seek Him for what he can give me. Its free, right?”
My dear reader, may God grant you eyes to see the cheap imitation Jesus you have chosen to be your savior. You have completely missed the irony that if you are the one deciding to let the Arminian Jesus save you, then he is no savior at all.
This Christmas…may God grant you repentance from following a deficient savior and from your lust to be in control of salvation. May God give you faith in Jesus Christ, in the manner revealed in the Scriptures…by His own sovereign will and gracious choice (Jn 1:12–13; Rom 9:16; 11:5).
You must know, your free will is a myth. Your decision making in salvation means absolutely nothing to Almighty God, who sits in the heavens and does as He pleases (Ps 115:3; 135:6) concerning you (Ps 57:2; 138:8). If it is His will to assign you to eternal punishment in fiery hell for eternity, then that is His sovereign prerogative. If He chooses to save you, then that was His decision before the foundation of the world. God does not change and neither does His eternal plan and purpose to elect some and reprobate others (Rom 9:22–23).
